The Scioto Valley Fire District will be accepting applications for the position of Part-Time Firefighter/EMT.

Applicants must possess the following:

1. Valid Ohio Driver’s License
2. Minimum of a valid Ohio EMT-Basic Certification (Paramedic Preferred)
3. Valid CPR Card
4. Minimum of a valid Ohio Firefighter I Certification

Successful candidates will be required to:

1. Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screening examination and physical
2. Successfully pass a criminal background check
3. Have the ability to be insured by the Districts insurance provider

Applications may be obtained on our website www.sciotovalleyfd.com or in person at the SVFD Fire Station at 100 N. Front St. La Rue, Ohio 43332. To pick up your application in person please call 740-499-2545 to schedule a time to pick up the application. Completed applications with copies of certifications must be turned into the station or emailed to Chief Paul Kerr at Chief701@sciotovalleyfd.com.
